Children's Ministry

In our Children's Ministry, we strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, Gospel-centered foundation for kids, and then continue to build on that foundation as they get older. We teach from the Scriptures and work with parents to help them proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

In an effort to help kids learn in the best way for them, we separate our Children's Ministry into different sections: Babies, Toddlers, 2s & 3s, 4s & 5s, and Kindergarten-5th Grade.

Nursery Age

Babies, Toddlers, 2s & 3s

Available during all our services, our Nursery Ministry strives to provide excellent service so that parents can feel free and comfortable to join us during Worship Service and Bible Studies.

We recognize the importance of teaching children the truth of God's Word, beginning at a young age. From simply praying for and speaking Biblical truths to babies, teaching a short lesson and doing simple activities with toddlers, to watching lesson videos, singing songs, and doing activities to reinforce the lesson with 2s & 3s, our teachers and volunteers work hard to gradually build a stronger foundation of faith with kids.

Nursery Age

Available during all our services, our Nursery Ministry strives to provide excellent service so that parents can feel free and comfortable to join us during worship services and Bible studies.

4s & 5s

As kids reach Preschool Age, we strive to continue building a stronger foundation of faith by increasing the depth of teaching as well as giving kids the opportunity to be kids. We believe that church service can be fun, and we want kids to feel the same way! From watching lesson videos, doing crafts and activities, to singing songs and playing games, our teachers and volunteers work hard to help kids have fun, learn well, but most importantly, love Jesus.

Preschool Age

4s & 5s

As kids reach Preschool Age, we strive to continue building a stronger foundation of faith by increasing the depth of teaching as well as giving kids the opportunity to be kids. We believe that church service can be fun, and we want kids to feel the same way! From watching lesson videos, doing crafts and activities, to singing songs and playing games, our teachers and volunteers work hard to help kids have fun, learn well, but most importantly, love Jesus.

School Age

Kindergarten-5th Grade

Once kids reach School Age, our desire is to take Biblical truths that they know or are learning and help them apply those truths to their lives. As kids grow older and are around more influences, it might be hard to see how the Bible affects them personally; our goal is to show kids that not only does Jesus love them, but He also has a plan for their life and wants them to live a certain way.

For kids this age, we begin to structure our Kids Service, which takes place during our main Worship Service, similar to what the adult service looks like in an effort to prepare them for that eventual switch when they get older: the biggest exception to this is game time, which the kids don't seem to mind!

School Age

Awana Bible Clubs

2 year-olds - 5th Grade

We are blessed to offer Awana Bible Clubs on Wednesday nights during the school year! Awana is a ministry curriculum and program, used around the world, that helps kids memorize Bible verses and grow in their relationship with God.

Our 2022-2023 Awana Club Year will be from September 7 - May 17 on Wednesdays at 7pm.

We are excited to once again partner with Awana to make this program available, for free, here at Battlefield. For more information, or to register your child, click below.
